A Minute Past Midnight - 萧逸
Written by:李冀昕/萧逸/许惟翔
This is a scene of reality that came to me in my sleep
As the nightmare came to an end I was strangled by relief
The clouds afloat like a bleeding altar as the sun beams down
While the sound of thunder seethes redemption in exile
Welcome to the past embedded
In the long forgotten present
You have been trapped too long
Inside a living bionic prison
Welcome to the past embedded
In the long forgotten present
You have been trapped too long
Inside a living bionic prison
Mutated seeds prosper on this radioactive barren earth
Malfunctioning bodies predisposed the savages at birth
Expelled centuries ago by the system left unheard
Swallowing their innate wickedness buried in dirt
A minute past midnight
A piece of time
Lost and confined
Encapsulated in all that was left yet far from what was right
A minute past midnight
A piece of time
Lost and confined
In the shadows of collapsing black holes fading out of sight
We escape to this foreign reality in search of the purpose in life
Fascinated by the horrors and pain only to find
That the freedom of choice is no more than a pitiful fact
Of how survival instincts trigger the mind to react
As the imperfection of life append aroused in flames
Nostalgia of the human touch struck against my head
I find it kind of funny at same time kind of sad
To have met the unborn hopes I should have had
